Maroc Pages honoured with Innovation Without Borders award at Moroccan Sahara Innovation Challenge 2026

British-led BGH Group Morocco recognised for its initiative to expand credible digital visibility and business opportunities throughout the Kingdom.

Morocco, North Africa, Morocco, 6th Nov 2026 — Maroc Pages, the business directory and digital enterprise development platform of BGH Group Morocco, has received the “Innovation Without Borders” distinction at the Moroccan Sahara Innovation Challenge 2026, according to the award certificate issued for the project.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for an initiative seeking to reshape how Moroccan enterprises establish a digital identity, communicate with customers and gain access to professional business support. The Challenge, organised by Cadi Ayyad University and its partners, ran from 26 to 31 October 2026 across Marrakech and Laayoune.

With British-origin leadership and international business connections, BGH Group Morocco has developed a connected portfolio of commercial services around a simple principle: a promising business should not remain invisible because it lacks a sophisticated website or a large marketing budget.

A digital challenge with national implications

Across Morocco, family enterprises, retailers, manufacturers, service providers and emerging entrepreneurs play a vital role in local employment and economic activity. Yet many operate without an independently managed website, making it harder for customers, suppliers and international partners to discover them.

The OECD’s Economic Survey of Morocco 2024 reported that only 28% of surveyed private firms had a webpage. The figure illustrates the scale of the digital visibility gap, although a company without its own website may still have a presence on social media, Google Maps or messaging platforms.

Maroc Pages addresses this gap through searchable business profiles containing practical information such as services, locations, imagery and contact channels. Its longer-term approach includes improving the quality and credibility of business information, with appropriate reference to official commercial registration records including OMPIC, rather than claiming that every listing has already been government-accredited.

The award is linked to the Challenge’s ambition to encourage innovative projects that can contribute to economic development, enterprise creation and new opportunity in Morocco’s Southern Provinces. For the Group, the distinction recognises an approach that combines digital discoverability with practical business enablement.

Five businesses. One integrated growth ecosystem.

Rather than operate a conventional directory alone, BGH Group Morocco has assembled five complementary activities intended to help firms progress from basic visibility to stronger commercial capability.

MAROC PAGES  | Business discovery

marocpages.com

A national business directory helping consumers, businesses and professional buyers identify Moroccan products and services. Business profiles can act as an accessible starting point for enterprises without a dedicated website.

MAROC PAGES INDUSTRIAL  |  B2B connections

marocpagesindustrial.com

A specialist directory for manufacturers, suppliers, industrial services and professional buyers, designed to make industrial capabilities more accessible and encourage procurement and business-to-business collaboration.

BUSINESS GROWTH HUB  |  Business advisory

businessgrowthhub.ma

Strategic planning, marketing, business development and support preparing for potential financing or investment discussions, helping individual enterprises address practical barriers to commercial growth.

MAROC BUSINESS CHANNEL  |  Business media

mbctv.ma

A business-focused media initiative offering a platform for interviews, commercial news, promotional stories and broader exposure for Moroccan enterprise.

AVANT PARTNERS  |  Outsourced operations

avantpartners.ma

Commercial and operational support, including outsourced sales development, marketing and business processes, aimed at companies seeking capabilities without immediately building full in-house departments.

Credibility alongside accessibility

The ecosystem seeks to combine convenient digital discovery for the public with practical services for businesses. Better information quality, clear business categories and responsible verification procedures are intended to support informed decisions. No directory listing should, by itself, be taken as an official guarantee of a business’s conduct or accreditation.

Southern Provinces: turning visibility into opportunity

The Challenge provided a natural setting for Maroc Pages’ proposed Southern Provinces initiative. In Laayoune, Dakhla and neighbouring areas, businesses across tourism, fisheries, logistics, manufacturing, professional services and construction are seeking customers and commercial partners within Morocco and beyond.

The Group proposes to strengthen digital profiles, develop sector- and location-specific discovery and connect businesses with appropriate support in marketing, business planning and commercial expansion. It has identified 84 businesses requiring development assistance, including marketing and capital-raising preparation. These are identified support needs, not a claim that funding has been secured.

International connections, local economic impact

The Group’s British origins and international commercial relationships inform its ambition to help Moroccan enterprises reach customers, distributors and professional networks in the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and other global markets. That international outlook is paired with a local priority: allowing smaller businesses to establish a professional presence and develop the capabilities they need to grow.

The next phase for Maroc Pages is to translate visibility into measurable outcomes — more complete business information, stronger customer engagement, qualified commercial introductions and greater access to professional advisory services.

“Every business deserves to be seen. Every entrepreneur deserves an opportunity to grow.”
